More poetry news today! I’m excited to share that my poem “Growing Tomatoes” is featured in the Summer 2019 issue of The Avocet. This is a nature and environmental poetry journal based out of Arizona (United States), and it’s available in print only. You can check out photos of my contributor’s copy earlier today on Instagram.
(Read more after the jump.)
As far as I know, you can purchase sample copies of The Avocet or order a one-year subscription (four issues, one per season). What I’m not so sure of is whether you can order a sample copy of a specific issue. But if you’re interested, visit The Avocet’s website to learn more about ordering your own copies, or click here to find out how you can send any questions to the editor.
Congrats Sara! You are becoming quite the accomplished poet, I’m so happy your work is getting recognized! 😀

I still shake my head sometimes. It’s been an amazing several months on the poetry month. And based on other responses I’ve received… well, it’s not done yet. 😉
Thanks so much, Tori!
